Seeing the EPC light come on can be confusing because the vehicle may still start and drive, but it may suddenly feel weak, hesitate, limit engine power, or respond strangely to the accelerator pedal. On many Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT, and Škoda vehicles, EPC stands for Electronic Power Control, and the warning usually means the computer has detected a problem with electronic throttle, engine management, or related control systems.
